The Dyn-Ergo Scoot Chair is a specialty chair for those with limited mobility, but with the capacity to push a chair around with their feet, thus facilitating independence. The chair is configured in a manner to allow this utility without much risk of the patient falling out of the chair. The chair can be configured with various wheel, padding, fabric, color, and specialty options to address special needs. The seat height can be adjusted from an ultra low 13.5 inches up to a standard wheelchair height of 18 inches. This adjustability, along with adjustable seat depth allows this chair to be individually configured to a patient's unique anatomy. The way the seat is tilted and the angle of the back reduce slumping and sliding of the patient in the chair. The contoured cushions effectively distribute body weight to reduce pressure points during long periods of sitting. This unique chair is available in 16, 18.5, 20, 22, and 24 inch seat widths. It is even available with a bare frame back to permit utilizing other company's positioning back cushion systems.
