The Pensar foam bridge kit can enable the wound care giver to reposition the suction dome to a different location. For example, if the wound to be treated is a sacral wound, you would not want to apply the suction dome directly above the foam in the wound. The dome, along with the tubing would be additional pressure points when the patient is lying on his/her back. The bridge kit provides the materials needed to fashion a suction channel, or bridge, between the wound foam and a better location for the suction dome. The kit includes precut hydrophobic foam, and a transparent film dressing. There are two of each in the package.
